Going Back Home

As you may have or may not read in some of my resent post, I am heading back to Albuquerque, and I am about to burst with excitement. I have found myself day-dreaming of being with the friends I had to leave last year, and how great it will be great it will to be back. I am a annual volunteer of the ABQpride!, and know all of the Pride Pagent holders and everyone in the Pride Commity, kinda like a very large family, favortie aunts , uncles and cousins all screaming how great it is to be Gay. We share stories and act silly, and I find a greater connection witht these people than my real family, even though I have never had the trouble that some have had with theirs.

This year, for the fouth time I will be in the parade, though I don't know which float I will be on this year, for the past two I was on the Leather float, but since my little spiritual adventures I think I will dress up like up Hanuman and give out free hugs and Hershy kisses. But I have not work out the details yet.

Since I have come to Stigler, I have alway felt so horrible being away from where I belong. It is only recently, I have been able to realize that I have grown so much as a person, and accepted my suffering as nessacity, because I wouldn't have traveled this road if I didn't come here. I realize I might be a totally different person if I did'nt move away. I doubt I would even found Soulforce if I didn't feel the need to connect with others like my self.

Hopefully, with a bit of luck, I will be able to stat there this time, I will be staying with my cousin and fianse she has agreed to let me stay with her until I can get a place of my own, Or six months which ever comes first.
But I am going to the Hanuman temple for two mo. a week after I get there, time for some real soul searching.

I dont know any Soulforcers besides me are going to there maybe other than NMwolfboy.
This years pride is
June 9th beginning at 10:30 am at the UNM campus.

I'm happy for you! Nothing else in the world quite like friends, I agree.

Well I caught my first brief glimpse of UNM back in November for an audition - but I doubt I'll be able to travel there in June. Never know, though, so if it happens I'll shoot you a note so we can meet and I can collect my free Hanuman hug.

Glad to hear you're heading back, marutidas! If you were on the leather float during last year's Abq. Pride, we're bound to have many acquaintances in common. Let me know when you get settled in!

I am pretty sure you know Pat, Kate, LE, Frida Roxxx, Thom Render, Mel Doll and Prince Julian, though they know my other name, Lee. But I am going to changing my name in the near future to Maruti Das.

You just named some of my favorite people in Abq!! Not sure if you've heard, but that cutie Mel Doll is moving to Boston soon - i think at the end of the month. We'll all miss her.

Tomorrow, I will be leaving for Albuquerque.
I haven't flown in a Long time and I am kinda of nervous having listen to all the bad things that can happen on a plane, So please pray for a safe journey for me.
