Remember a while back I sent letters to my representatives regarding the anti-gay legislation in NIGERIA? Here's the response I (finally) got back from Johnny Isakson's office today. Yeah, he really cares about anti-gay legislation -- enough that he couldn't even get the country right! Why did his office even bother responding?!?! I know it's generally a lost cause to write to my two particular senators, but I do it anyway.
I had to laugh at this one! Susan Dear Ms. H______ : Thank you for contacting me regarding your concern with human rights issues in Nicaragua . I am glad to hear your thoughts on the issue. Please know that I will keep your thoughts in mind should this issue come before the Committee on Foreign Relations. Thank you again for contacting me. Please visit my webpage at http://isakson.senate.gov for more information on the issues important to you and to sign up for my e-newsletter. Sincerely, Johnny Isakson United States Senator

Geez Louise!! Can you say overworked, hurried staffer?? I would contact them again and politely correct them. Maybe make a phone call this time. Yes I have an addiction to windmill-tilting.

Looks like they didn't have a specific response/or something to say that agreed with your position they just used a letter they have for general response. Now that they messed up it might force them to respond more specificly to your concerns if you call.
