Hi folks, I'm so glad to have found this place! My name is Sharon; I'm an Independent Catholic priest from Northern Virginia, pastor-in-charge of a small community called St. Brigid of the Gaels. I'm 50, bi, and the mother of an adult autistic son, Brian. I found Soulforce when someone asked me to sign the petition on behalf of Gene Robinson's right to attend Lambeth next year.
Thanks for creating this special, sacred space! Blessings, Rev. Sharon

Rev. Sharon,
Hello, May I ask what defines an Independent Catholic Priest? Is your son high functioning? You are in my prayers for strength. All children can be handfulls, Autism makes for a much more lively parenting experience. You mentioned being bi. Are you married to a man or a woman? Aren't I just full of questions. If any are too personal, please forgive me. I look forward to hearing from you. Hugs, Angel To Daniel, I love that quote from Kahlil Gibran.
