{o/” What a difference ..eight days makes... o/” -This chick wields a heavy bow.
} March 26 CNN live interview with a Bagdad journalist about the Administration blaming the media for the increasingly low support for the Iraq “war.” About 6 minutes long and get’s steadily more pointed. http://www.ameratsu.com/media/vid/cn...an_060326a.wmv {Source}

Thanks, Emp.
I don't know what he said that for. I DO know that he has completely given over to the same group of folks who smeared him to death in 2000. He used to give the appearance of standing on his own principals. Geez, I even voted for him a few years ago. But about two years ago he took a complete makeover into a clone of an obedient lapdog of the far far far right. I think it's going to destroy his career. Consider: most of the very far right will not vote for McCain based on his "maverick" past, because they don't trust him. They think he'll be too far left. Folks like my husband and I, who voted for him a few years ago, will now never vote for him again because of what he's become. Also consider that this is what happens when the majority of Americans do not participate in the political process and thus allow a relatively small group of fanatics to exert this degree of influence over the political arena. As recently as 10 years ago I waved off concerns about the 'christian right' as alarmist, because I KNEW for certain that no one would ever take them seriously and that this could not happen to America. Grrrr.

Some people are now in denial about the dangers of the religious right wing, on grounds that the Republicans lost a lot of seats in Congress in November 2006. What a lot of people don't seem to realize that the religious right wing has had its ups and downs ever since it became a major political force in the late 1970's. A bunch of electoral defeats in one year doesn't mean it can't become a kingmaker again a few years later.

And stand up for justice this man did.
(PS, It's much more inspiring than the clip photo suggests.) Imagine the courage to get arrested (I'm assuming) like that. But he got the message to CNN, who got it to me, who got it on the internet..

But it's not just "an example of the effectiveness of pointedness," it's the essence of it drawn out.
She's easy to watch, and interesting to listen to. She gracefully yet intensely conveys every aspect of the ex-gay politico-sphere without exuding any sense of "selling" it. It's the quintessentially perfect link/hyperlink to convey the truth of the Entire ex-gay political message in a nutshell, yet without being at all aggressive about it.
