FYI: I am not dissing the network because of one story. Just like many here don't like O Reilly because of the stories he reports and how he reports them, I do not support MSNBC for the same reason. Do you watch Fox frequently? I doubt it. I didn't watch MSNBC much before, but I'm REALLY not going to watch them now. If you or others, many of whom are constantly asking for me to provide proof to back my assertions, had taken the time to read any of the links that I've posted on related topics or looked at my website, you would see several stories written by MSNBC that I consider to be unfair and biased in a way that adversely impacts the disability community. You will find articles by Fox that are guilty of the same issue there as well.

Excuse me, Meghan, but I was making a general comment about the subject of the thread. Why in the world do you think I was talking just to you?

From my experiences with you I've found you to be a reasonable person who I usually agree with. I, frankly, don't see any reason for the venom. As to responding to me or to the thread, you did compare my "dissing" MSNBC with "dissing" Bill O Reilly, asking us to decide whether the two were equally reasonable, so I'm just answering that thought, which, obviously, incorporated facts from my posts.

I don't even know where to respond because much of it seems to be a disagreement from the past which I am not aware of.

I feel that the only reason the "left" attacks O'Reilly is because he truly is a spin zone. He attacks and brands all liberals as evil America haters, and he does not report truth, he exaggerates stories, and he does not let the other side speak. He also brings the stupidest people on his show to defend liberal ideas. How can he say he is the no spin zone with a straight face?

Ah, yes...the old "don't pee on my head and tell me it's raining" conundrum. Call me a cynic, but I honestly do not believe that O'Reilly really believes what he's saying. Coulter and Limbaugh, too. I think they're simply craven and have figured out a way to make money and get attention from angry, fearful people who want to be spoon fed conspiracy theories.

I am confused about how the left wing media is doing a disservice to the disabled community, can you please elaborate?

Disabled people of course are an overlooked minority in this country, but I am not sure how this compares with O'Reilly at all.

O'Reilly distorts facts to promote his own agenda.

On a sidenote I have not heard O'Reilly talk about any of these sexual hypocrites of the GOP who lead double lives. Fair and balanced? Sure if you are smoked up.
