Default Ministry to Gay Soldiers

Hello everyone...

I'm working on a project for a class in which I'm trying to develop a ministry to gay soldiers in my area. I live near Ft. Hood and know that there must be a good sized gay population, but the military environment poses unique problems and issues for ministering to GLBT people.

do you guys know groups or organizations that minister to gay soldiers? ideas about how one might go about meeting and ministering to gay soldiers?

any and all help would be appreciated.

Lucas

Here is a resource page linking to many organizations:

I would suggest calling each of these organizations and conducting an informational interview where you learn about their work and also present your idea to them. I think by the end of this process you will have a pretty solid idea of how to proceed.

I think this is a great idea. Keep us posted about how things go.
