Default "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."

I read this scripture from Matthew and can't help to think about the relationship I have with my companion. I realize that Christ is referring to a Man and Woman, but I can't believe that it is exclusively for straight people. I know without a doubt that God has joined me to my husband and I wonder why others would try to say otherwise. As far as I am concerned, if others try to separate us, aren't they the ones who are in violation?

Hi Labguy. You know the reality that seems to escape so many of our adversaries. Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered relationships work. They are life affirming and committed. I sincerely believe like you that God brought my husband to me and joined us together for a life time together.

If others try to separate you, they are in violation of the deepest laws of love that operate in the universe.

I would consider that axiomatic
