Our town is very small and out of touch, so we are not having anything in my town. But, the Scranton area is having an Interfaith Service tomorrow night at the University of Scranton, which Scranton has had before and they have been very powerful.

i've just posted on my blog about World AIDS day, and then discovered this thread. Rather than repeat myself here, please check out my blog entry. WARNING - it's kind of lengthy.
Also, Albuquerque hosted two largely advertised public World AIDS Day observances: the annual interfaith service at MCC Albuquerque, and the first ever First Nations World AIDS Day Observance. I went to the MCC service with my partner and some friends, and we're all glad we went. I also heard that the First Nations observance, which was expected to attract about 50 attendees actually had over 250 folks attend!
