Default Marriage amendment Bill in PA State House

You might recall that back in March, I attended a rally to oppose this amendment at our state capital in Harrisburg

Bill moves to State House, could be voted on soon

Here's what is being said about the motivation for introducing the bill: Eric Heyl

interesting reading, enjoy.

Default interesting, and oh so true!

For those of you not from PA, the "give yourself a pay raise and then take it back because of the outcry" thing was big and still is. From the beginning, even a person as politically unsaavy as myself thought the whole bill sounded pretty redundant. As optimistic as I try to be, I just get more disillusioned about the political process as a whole when stuff like this comes out. I only hope that all voters will see it as the ploy that it is and vote accordingly. Vanessa
