Beltaine approaches, heralding the return of the Sun

To be received, Forgiveness needs to be in a language that goes to the heart. This morning I awoke with the guilt that I had been dealing lately. I started though a meditataion, trying to find some way to find that I deserved to be forgiven.

"You have suffered enough. You have paid. The indemnity is cleared. Let Go!"
What a relief! Then comes more.

"You deserve the focus of your awareness. To Free yourself of the nagging things that your lack of awareness has allowed to accumulate. In fact you have deserved this all along. You are free to live this day anew with light heart and love to show yourself and others."

I awaken to this day. Another gift to cherish!

This is the exact experience I have had using the Buddhist practice of Tonglen. Breathing in 'darkness', 'suffering' and 'negativity', then compassionately breathng out- to myself and others- blessing light and radiance. It does go right to the heart of the matter and to the heart itself, which has- I think- it's own nonverbal language. Non- mental that is.

Guilt is such a mental thing I think. And perhaps that means getting out of our heads and back into our bodies and hearts, if not groins, getting connected all the way down to the earth form which we come.

Ashes to ashes- dust to dust. We all all made of the same stuff and deserve the same love from and to each other- that which we give ourselves.
