Lightbulb Prayer Request.

Hey everyone,

So yeah I just got back from a visit to the hospital... no it’s not from the motorcycle.

Ok, Wednesday my friends and I day tripped to go rock climbing. And some how all 3 of us managed to get really bad poison Ivy. Two of us don’t have health insurance so this is going to cost a lot.

So I could really use prayers for healing, I've had poison ivy a few times but this time it is really bad, and to find out how I am going to pay for this.

Thanks,
Venari

I'm so sorry, darlin'! Never had poison ivy...can't really imagine what it's like, but my dad used to get it everytime the wind blew the wrong direction on the farm. He's very sensitive.

Thinking of you,
Dash

Peace be still. (in other words... NO SCRATCHING!)

Soak your body in Calamine lotion several times a day to dry out the poison ivy.

praying for you,
Nate

can you go swimming somewhere? I know it's an odd question, but the chlorine in the water would help dry the poison.

Don't do the following: My dad uses full strength chlorine bleach on his poison ivy. It burns incredibly, but again, dries it out.

Good luck with that. I used to get it when I was a kid, my mom said I looked like a burn victim it was so bad. Not to mention how miserable it felt.

Blessings (and praying that money comes your way to pay for it all)

Talking I’ve never had poison ivy so I’m in a perfect position to make light of this..

^ Yes, but I’m sure even in that condition you were still appealin.’ (Actually that sounds like a good idea, chlorine kills EVERYTHING)

But seriously, my permanent book of healing talks about skin conditions mostly as the suppression of expression in regard to your true self and outward expression of feelings. So I think openly asking for prayers is a pretty good start.

I can’t say I relate to that but I know how even the smallest little irritation can be emotionally crunching on TOP of the physical part. You got my prayers Venari.

Do Not Itch, perfect skin now!

Default Sorry!

I have never had poison ivy, but my nephew gets it so badly he has had to visit the hospital. It LOOKS painful! My prayers are with you. I have also asked my angels help you with this difficult situation. Not many people are aware (or ready to believe?) the power Angels have in our lives. I hope an answer to your problem comes to you soon.
Kathleen

Default You got it, Venari!

You have all of the thoughts and prayers that I can send your way that you will heal, fully, both physically and monetarily. Be peaceful and still in it all so the healing can be full. Peace, Vanessa

Lightbulb Better now.

Well,

Because of how bad it was they the ER dr put me on a high dose of presidone (sp). As it turns out I am one of the very lucky people who is allergic to this drug, so I ended up back in the hospital. I also missed 4 shifts of work and most of my finals .

So now I am scrambling to get things caught up. But I am back at work so I'll have free time to get people riled up again .

Thanks for the prayers and support,
Venari

Oh NO! Hospitals, drug allergies, missed finals?!?! That's even terrible-er.

I'm sorry V.

Glad that you're back up and about, and getting caught up. I take it your health is all better now, or at least well on the mend.

Take care and good luck catching up on those exams.
