A gift from my partner

I've been a little blue lately, struggling with anger, bitterness and regrets about church stuff, and the path that my life has taken (I have not had the success that my education or dreams might have led to).

So, as an early anniversary present (2 years on the 29th), she gave me a necklace. It is a simple gold necklace, with a circle of gold on which is inscribed: "Be the change you wish to see in the world" -- Ghandi.

How perfect! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect present, or a more loving, caring partner who is so in tune with "where I'm at" at this moment.

Just thought I'd share that, since it's sort of relevant here.
