Thought I would pass this on:
Here in Sacramento we are spending the day after Thanksgiving protesting at the state Capitol instead of shopping. I think the game plan is going to include moving on to various shopping malls in the area to stand with our "second class citizen" t shirts and hold our protest signs. Mine perhaps: "No Marriage = No Sales Tax" On another note, these things need to be planned out with more advance notice to get people on board. It will likely be a very small group. But it's an idea, if you have nothing else to do on Friday, plan your own "Pink Friday." Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am so glad ya'll are continuing to protest. These idiots probably thought ya'll would just bitch and moan for awhile and then crawl back into your closets and lick your wounds. We need to show them we are not backing down, we won't shut up, we won't go away, and they just pissed off a bunch of people who are tired of being beat down and relegated to 2nd class citizens.
I hope your shopping mall experience is positive and that you show these people that you are not ashamed of who you are or what you want. You go girl!

There are a couple of nation-wide actions coming up through Jointtheimpact.
Dec 1st - National boycott by GLBTs, don't buy anything Dec 10th - Day Without a Gay - call in 'queer', stay home from work, don't spend your money, and work on equality activism. This is in response to the ballot initiatives passed in CA, AZ, FL and AK. http://www.daywithoutagay.org
