Unhappy Confused..please help

I am a discreet bi from the Philippines. Ive been struggling lately since I join dis christian youth organization. I'm in a relationship now with same sex and according to my spiritual father, this is wrong as stated in the bible. Ive been crying for nights since Its not easy to let go of a person whom you love purely and its not easy to let go things which the only thing that you do is to love.

Is it wrong for us bi to be in love? Does homosexual practices really result to condemnation? Do i really have to break up with my partner?

I have read the article about "What Bible Says..." and I'm quite relieve by that. I love God very much and I want to be enlightened by this issue. Please help me. Your words will be highly appreciated.

Ohhh. How sad.

Please make sure that whatever decision you make is yours, not someone else's decision. Breaking off with someone should not be a decision made by another person. If you break off with your sweet one because someone else told you to, you may end up more sad later, and someday you might become angry and resent the person who told you to end it.

I don't know anything about the Phillipines. Are you safe there, if you date someone of your same sex? Might you be in any danger? If you are safe doing so, can you reach out to gay people where you are for their friendship? If it isn't safe, please don't, remember I don't know.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yeah you are right..
Here in Philippines its actually safe but we chose not to divulge this relationship because both of us were discreet and we cant avoid some people's criticism and gossips. But generally, this kind of relationship is somehow prevalent already. I don't also have much bi friends and most of my friends are straight thats why I don't have much to share with. Im really in crossroad now. I don't know if my relationship with him will keep me away from Jesus. I don't know if it's wrong or not. But I'm still hoping that I can find the answer to it. I'm praying for it everyday. I know only God can best answer my question but I need some one who is highly religious who knows much about the scriptures and God's words to enlighten me If homosexual relationships are wrong and condemnable act. I would like to believe not..

Life will be difficult if you trust other people to such a degree that you base a decision like this on what they say to the exclusion of your own participation in the decision. You will find many people who know the scriptures VERY well, yet who disagree with one another and will say very different things about how homosexuality/bisexuality/heterosexuality does or does not impact your relation with God. Very different things, yet all from experts.

I suggest that you read and listen, but keep a bit of trust for yourself. Do not place all your trust in other people. Just, maybe, some.

Prayer is good. Stay with it. Also, maybe you would like to sit quietly after your prayers and tune in, 'listen,' as it were, for what the spirit may be telling you directly. You are no less entitled to inspiration than ANY other person, that includes religious experts and leaders.

BTW, I am glad to hear you are safe there.
