I came out 4 years ago in my mid fifties as transgender. It has allowed me to see life from several different spectrum. It has helped me to really study the scriptures in a new revelation.
When Jesus said that 'God so loved the world', I take it to mean every single person. When I see or hear 'Christians' treat LGBT people differently or with contempt, it makes me wonder if God's love is in them. I have read much about what the bible says about homosexuality. I have concluded that what has been taught about it is wrong and misguided. Every person I have spoken with knew that they were gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender as children. I didn't know I was trans until 4 years ago, but God knew. It was revealed to me in his time. I don't have any regrets about being a latecomer. Only God knows why. In the studies I've done, no where does scripture say anything against same sex couples or transgender folks. I would love to speak in churches about transgender topics. I am a Christian who happens to be transgender. I'm discovering new things in scripture that I will pass on. Gennee ![]() ![]() ![]()
