Ugh... family drama, mild this time. Never an easy thing though. It's a complicated situation where someone will end up getting hurt no matter how it works itself out. I hope that my mom takes the things we talk about to heart

This is when I wish I could fall asleep in someone's arms... I need to find a ways to comfort myself.

Yesterday I started my final semester at University of Sioux Falls. It's been hectic, getting ready for fall classes, finishing up a summer class, and moving once again.

Please pray for me as I embark on my studies, especially with regards to the GRE which I must take next month.

Please also pray that all will go well in my new home, which I blessed with incense yesterday.

Over the weekend, I received the disturbing news that the counselor at our local LGBT center was terminated due to a very unfortunate incident. The details are very hush-hush, which is frustrating to those of us who know and love "Anna." She co-founded the center in 2000, and was the driving force behind it in the years to come. Please pray for "Anna," whose true name is known to the higher powers, who I'm told is devastated, and that the center will continue to move forward with it's mission to the LGBT community. Thank you!

Please pray for a 13year old boy who attempted suicide this morning (gender issues) in Benoni, South Africa. And please pray that his family accepts him for the beautiful and wonderful child of God he is.

Please pray for the peaceful rest of Rev. Lowell Berg, who died suddenly over the weekend, and for wife Sonja and daughter Amy. He was pastor at my childhood church for almost 30 years, and was the first member of the clergy to affirm my sexuality as something good rather than evil when I came out to him. A true follower of Christ, and a humble and gentle man. Eternal blessings be his!

I was asked to go to a meeting with the senior pastor's wife tonight.
She told me flat out I am something God hates.
That I cannot be gay and still be a Christian, but that she still loves me. (which is amazingly contradictory if you ask me) anyways the concern is what I will do tonight, because I am scared out of my mind, and horribly sad
So if anyone is out there reading this~ I'd appreciate your prayers.

Please pray for my boyfriend Dan. He is in a dire financial. He is trying to sell his horse farm and can't do anything until it sells. There just seems to be no buyers for this type of property at the moment. He has run out of money and is having trouble buying feed for the horses. He is very depressed.

I'm praying for the victims, of course, but I'm also praying for the people there and on the way who want nothing more than to do everything possible. May they have strength and wisdom...and may they also know that they need to take care of themselves as well. God be with them.

hi everyone. In January my girlfriend was diagnosed with a Chiari Malformation. Now she is getting surgery on Wednesday to help fight the symptoms and reduce the problems caused by it. It is a fairly safe surgery, but I am still quite worried, so your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

Any surgery is still surgery. I'll certainly pray for her. Chiari Malformation is often associated with spina bifida. If it isn't too personal a question does your girlfriend have spina bifida? The reason I'm asking is that I have spina bifida.

A friend of mine posted a suicide note today. Nobody has been able to get through to her, and I didn't hear about it until two hours after the posting. As I write this I have no clue if she's still alive, or if it's too late. I only know her in the context of the internet, but we've been friends for long time, and had even attempted a more intimate relationship. Eve is very important to me and a number of mutual friends.

I just had a death in my church family, from an accidental prescription drug overdose. He was 40, he'd lived a hard life and things were just starting to look up for him. I didn't know him well, but I was starting to get to know him better. I don't know if I can consider him a friend, but I liked him and his death has saddened me. He reminded me a lot of my uncle, who I lost last January. I am also dealing with the death of my great grandmother who died in November. At the risk of sounding incredibly self-focused, I don't know how much more death I can deal with right now.

I guess what I'm wanting to ask for is prayer for Eve if it's not too late...and if it is, then for those left behind. Thanks everybody.

EDIT: I got an e-mail from Eve at 10:44 this morning. She's alive. I won't go into too many details, but her dad found her and put it together before she could do any harm to herself. It's going to be a long and hard process putting her back together, but I think we can take it from here.

no, she doesn't have spina bifida, but another friend of mine does.

It is wonderful that she is alive. I will certainly keep her in my prayers that she mends as fully as possible.

A dear friend of mine, Nicole (we all call her Nikki), had a recurrence of cancer several months ago after a period of remission. Because she's been infected with West Nile, chemo and radiation are not possible. The doctors have been basically monitoring the tumors over time. A mammogram yesterday revealed further lumps. She is married and has three children ranging in age from about four to 14. Any prayers and healing energy you could send their way would be most appreciated! Thanks!
