Default Mark Souders

We don't need homosexuals to destroy family values, just ask Mark Souders

The “family-values” Republican from Indiana found today to be not as committed to his family as he'd have us believe. ...

Default ah...

Reading about this in the Times yesterday as well as the news about Rekers made me reflect that - increasingly- I find myself not caring about other people's sex lives very much. That said, I do understand the hypocrisy factor. That's the driving force behind this news after all, right?

The shame comes from saying one thing and doing another.

It may be utopian, but I'd like to see a world where who you sleep isn't a factor.

More manners and less morals. More kindness and less judgment.

I agree with you Daniel but I still am going to piss on this guys political grave.
Being from Indiana and never liking him I can't help but enjoy this.
I know, it's wrong.
"Indiana Republican representative Mark Souder went on a rant last November about the Domestic Partner Benefits and Obligations Act, which would provide health and pension benefits to same-sex partners of government employees, and how it morally offends his Christian values."

That big mouth did the nation a favor by stepping down. So much for his Christian values.

The fact that he had an affair is not of interest to me. It's the fact that he used his time in public office to discriminate against those who didn't hold his "values" (I really hate that word, by the way), while apparently not living up to them himself.
