Lightbulb BOOK RECOMMENDATION - "Engage - Exploring Nonviolent Living"

I wanted to take a moment to share with folks on the forum a wonderful book that I was asked to review. The book is published by Pac e Bene, a Franciscan organization committed to nonviolence. The book's name is, "Engage-Exploring Nonviolent Living." This 12 session workbook has loads of information about nonviolence. Even if you don't think you would be able to do a 12 session study group on nonviolence, it will help you with all sorts of ideas about how to help people understand the importance of nonviolence. Too often, we hear people say, oh, but nonviolence won't work in this situation, or nonviolence is just not practical. I highly recommend this book, which will give you all sorts of new ideas and help in what is always an ongoing education when it comes to nonviolence. I don't believe we can ever learn too much about this subject, because I suspect that nonviolence may be one of the biggest challenges we will ever face. The book sells for $22.00 - if you purchase 5 or more copies, the price goes down to $18.00. It's a very good investment. You can get more information by going to http://www.engagenonviolence.org/.
