Default Pro-Love Dates

The Pro-Love march is June 25th from Peachtree Center to the Geogia State Capitol from 10:30a - 1:00p.

The rally is June 26th at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Decatur, GA. Bishop Carlton Pearson is one of the speakers. It starts at 11:00a.

We will be there so it will be Stonewall weekend related.

What is Pro-Love?
1. Pro-Love is the simple idea that God is LOVE!
2. Pro-Love declares that the strongest bridge connecting cultures and communities, races and religions, is LOVE.
3. Pro-Love suggests that war has not produced peace, intolerance has not yielded harmony, and argument has not rendered agreement.
4. Pro-Love recognizes that LOVE is the answer to the question.
5. Pro-Love dares to believe that through the power of LOVE, the Jew and the Muslim, the Atheist and the Christian, the Gay and Straight, and all others... can live peaceable together.
6. Pro-Love agrees that LOVE is the most powerful force in the universe.
7. Pro-Love declares that LOVE never fails!

That's from the web site. It's an interfaith group effort.

The one here was built by the Paulk family and congregation. Rev. D.E. sort of inherited a mess from his father. Sex scandal begat sects scandal which begat inclusion. It used to be known as Chapel Hill Harvester Church in Decatur, Ga. D.E.'s cousin is Jim Swilley from Church in the Now (who came out last year with a little bit of notoriety.) Nothing like a good scandal to shake up your faith and put it back where it belongs.

I meant he was the actual architect and builder hired to construct it.

Thanks Tallit, I was unaware of what Mr. Tammy Faye the Second did. My ignorance did not remain permanent.

I went to visit R. Messner Construction Co web site. Nice portfolio:
