Great story but what a complexed life you lived. it must have been very confusing for you as a child seeing different men come into your life only to stay for short periods of time but it seems that you came out alright.

That's quite the story you have. I'm sorry about your brother's passing and also glad that you've found happiness. As the old McDonald's song says, you deserve a break.

I'm actually a straight woman but I hang out in my city's gay bar, which is just 3-1/2 blocks from where I live. It's like having a local pub. The people there have been good to me and good for me.

I have problems with depression, and one of the things that goes with that is a tendency to isolate myself. That's a fancy way of saying that I'm a nerd who doesn't get out enough. The gay bar helps me get out more. I owe the GLBT community a lot.
