Default Lord Have Mercy!

The more I learn about the incredible hypocrisy of the right wing the more I wonder what has happened to just plain common sense in America...are citizens so scared after 9/11 that they'll accept somebody like this as long as he names the same enemies on his list that they want to hear?

In a related matter, Ralph Reed is quietly running for Lt. Governor here in Ga. He has done almost no campaigning but has millions more than any other candidates from his relationship with Jack Abramoff.

There is also proof that he profits from the forced labor camp at Marianna Island where abortions are required of pregnant female workers. More about this here http://www.jacknewfield.com/sun/tickingForDelay.pdf

I'm not sure about the scared part - but traditionally these types of people are too lazy to think for themselves. They hop on various bandwagons of those in power, gladly fork over their last cent to these people and then run with it all. It is astounding, the number of those I know who refuse to look into any issues they have with a matter and hold only to their own opinion - which is not really theirs, but their 'adopted' opinion of those they choose to believe. Real research takes a lot of time and effort, and its much easier to allow someone else to do it and then adopt that person's opinion. If everyone did their own thinking, it would solve a lot of problems (although create other problems I'm sure)!
