Thanks for the nice comments, everyone! And I recall that I commented on Nathan and Schoolboi's height, so turnaround is fair play.

Actually, all this time I thought I was 5' 11'' like my driver's license states. I just had Chris measure and, in reality, I'm a hair under 5' 9".

Isn't it odd the things we believe about ourselves that aren't quite accurate.

it's good to be on the shorter side.... people seem to expect a little less from you... so when you do something, for some reason they seem surprised.... I don't really understand, but it usually works out pretty well.
