Forum-inspired dreams

Puh-lease tell me I'm not the only one who has dreams influenced by this forum!?? Last night, I had the third such dream. Here it is:

Essentially, I am wandering the wilderness at night with a male "twin", and a circus ringleader accosts us saying we have to look at an exhibition of dead bodies (Thanks, Dean! ). A crowd is telling us we have to lie in the ground with whatever dead person we name. I am struggling against the crowd when I shout, "Only if it's Jesus!" (Okay, a LOT to analyze there, I'm sure.)

Apparently those were the magic words because the crowd slinks quietly away, and our Dean saunters in, smoking a cigarette, casually tilts his head to indicate we should follow him, and leads us through a secret passage to a garden, reaches into a mound of dirt, and uncovers a pile of holy relics (bones, etc.) He takes out of the ribcage two pendants that somewhat resemble crosses, but aren't, it is some kind of symbol I've never seen before, and hastily he puts them around our necks, hanging just over our hearts, where they become invisible sources of light. Then my male "twin" and I leave him to go out into some kind of battle. And that's how it ends.

I woke up feeling like something important had actually happened.

Dead bodies= old ideas
Jesus= Jesus & transformation
Symbols & light over the heart indicate a getting to the heart of the matter.
Bones= your very Self
Male side=outward actions rather than static 'inner' feeling.
Dean= thinking outside the box while holding the box.

In sum: this reflects your recent venturing into 'service' organizations.
You woke up feeling like something happened because it already has.

I think your ultimate statement about this being about the service organizations is on target. That was my first thought upon waking up. The dream seems fairly transparent, but there are even further levels here which are too many to go into.

There is a great deal more about the male "twin," because what I didn't say is he's been with me in my dreams since I was 8 or 9 years old. He has a long and complex history.

I really like your thoughts about bones, heart, and the light. I think that's pretty much it, there.

Dead bodies - maybe old ideas. Maybe. There is still some "housecleaning" going on around here! And on another level, my mind latched onto Awediot's posting those pictures of dead bodies, because it was basically the Bodyworlds thing interpolated into a dream.

The Jesus reference - there is oh so much that could be! And I have no history of connection with Christianity or personal relationship with Jesus as a savior or anything, so that is a brand new element. Never had a dream like that before.

Somehow the reference to Jesus leading me to an intitiation with a cross*like* symbol I've never seen before seems very significant.

Anyway, it's a dream I liked a lot. Even so, I woke up from it feeling terrified. ?

That's a pretty interesting dream. Do you have any idea what the twin thing is about, I mean that it's kind of always been there???

Vortex, thanks! Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the twin. And yeah, there's a lot more to it, but it's way too much to go into on a forum. It really would have to be a book.
