Today, at the MA Constitutional Convention, the divergent LGBT groups are facing the reality that their judicial losses have brought their opponents to success in their nihilistic agenda to kill the only same-sex marriage law in the USA. It could have been three New England states, but the LGBT groups opted for civil unions in CT and VT.

In the first Convention, the vote to create a referendum, which they won, required a plurality of the votes....twice as many as they now do....since the fraud-laden petition drive only requires 25% of all delegates to get a referendum, or 50 votes. This number absolutely guarantees a referendum.

Dobson was named the point person in the Troika and the person who both funds and directs the activities of the MA-resident theocons. Today, LGBT bloggers state that our gay and gay-affirming delegates are hoping to thwart the vote since there are other issues before the Convention. Dobson, Robertson and Falwell have flooded the Capitol area with theocons from all over the USA. It is reported that there are few MA supporters there and not much evidence of any out-of-state LGBT presence. There are even some unfortunate animus between two major local organisations on tactics surrounding providing names of petition gatherers - which was a wedge used by the Dobson group who sat on LGBT blogs and were met with gay bloggers who had more compassion and provision of access to their spin rather than to provide cogent replies to their diatribes and attacks.

IF the Constitutional Convention's 50 delegates win, then the Referendum Vote will occur on Election Day, 2008. Remember....both Kerry and Romney in MA, and Clinton in NY, want the same thing.....the death of same sex marriage in MA.

Addition....Dobson has used both his FOCUS ON THE FAMILY and most especially, his LOVE WON OUT programmes.....making the case that homosexuality is a curable disorder and choice and that our families are merely toxic to our children that they must save from us.
