Default The Devil Wears Prada

Yes, and I don't mean Meryl Streep or the real person on which her character was drawn from. And no, my spouse will not support my use of such a description of the man - despite the fact that he believes he acts out of the deepest feelings of self-hatred and an inability to differentiate between paedophiles and healthy homosexuals.

Yes, the papal -----okay, I'll be kind ------metrosexual---ostensibly celibate ----- had his first Papal edict by sacking the papal tailors who had clothed the pontiffs for centuries. What difference does it make that this pontiff has a fashion sense along with his intense homophobia and faulty theological defences for his verbal violence.

This weekend, the Fuhrer Papen Ratzinger is in Spain in order to forment trouble for the Socialist government and prime minister who legalised same-sex marriage and made abortion choices legal in Spain. Remember, that only a few decades ago, homosexuality and abortion were criminal acts punishable by imprisonment with the key thrown away. The Roman Catholic Church was the established and only Christian denomination in Spain. All Protestant denominations were illegal outside foreign embassy staffers. More they could not serve any Spaniard, and could not wear any clothing or uniform suggesting that they were Reformation pastors.

Again, this global Papal strategy - to visit Canada, Belgium, Netherlands and Spain - is not to attend Catholic spiritual conclaves but rather to incite his supporters to bait and switch the losses incurred by the paedophile scandal but scapegoating gay priests and lay religious especially for the phenomenom. It also sidesteps the celibacy and married priest issues and by giving imprimatur to the homophobia present in most societies.

The Pope is allegedly not the only Catholic with an internalised homophobia who remains within that Church, and more, props up the lie about a moral life lived as either a Catholic Christian LGBT individual - single or same-sex coupled and married if legally possible. Many also when not legal make spiritual vows in the presence of God and the community.

Interesting however, is that hypocrisy is always hard to legislate for any length of time. Despite their intention to purge - Inquisition-style - all Roman Catholic gay clergy or potential seminarians - it has occurred to the Church that most heterosexual candidates do not want to maintain the celibacy disciplinary statute for their Latin rite only....with exceptions for former dissident Anglican or Lutheran clergy as well as their Eastern rite priests in certain nations.

Bravo to the prelates and priests who basically said to their bishops....Okay, sweetie, if you purge me and my friends - we, who have known you since we were seminarians together, and since, will "out" you for your hypocrisy. So think long and hard before you decide to purge me. Also, the Church has had a dirth of vocations - especially in religious congregations and orders as well as diocesan clergy - ever since the Depression-era and post WWII-crop have been retiring for several decades.

More, European Catholics are most cultural communicants - twice a year or at birth, marriage and death. In the USA and Canada, years of either dominance or theocracy in QC, have truly made those societies secular in outlook and theology.

The largest dioceses in Latin America - where most Catholics live and accept the Magisterium without question - and where all the non-fascist bishops from the privileged families consecrated by John XXIII - are experiencing major inroads by the American fundamentalist Protestants who are sending " Christian missionaries " to convert Catholics to Protestantism. More, one of the Central American nations boasts a fundamentalist Protestant president.

Ratzinger is brilliant and is someone - if studied - could add a chapter or two to THE PRINCE. Against all odds, he won the Papal Conclave vote despite the fact that he could become a divisive force. He himself is absolutely responsible for the purging of bishops throughout the world who opposed him, to say nothing of the Halloween letter and the silencing of all liberal theological voices who defined the pontificates of John XXIII Roncalli and early Paul VI Montini.

Default Dear "a" Spouse

I also find that the billions of US$ and Euro$ that have been paid to now apostate Roman Catholics for their pedophile scandals fueled the need to scapegoat gay priests while protecting as many bishops, archbishops, and most especially cardinals from either scrutiny or prosecution.

The logic was clear. First, secular science is inferior to the philosophical conceptions of "natural law" taught by Scholastic Catholicism.

You see, I have read your spouse's book....especially his support of those theologians - both Catholic and Anglican - who discuss Blondel in describing the difference between "condition" (read orientation) and "activity". This speaks to men or women of homosexual or heterosexual condition who "act" ( read behavior) outside of their normative condition or psychosexual orientation.

"Since the Great Schism," he wrote, " it was clear that Western and Eastern Christianity would walk different paths to explain the Mysterion of the Faith. The West has experienced monolithic rule in opposition to local autonomy, victims described as heretics who later were absolved and canonized saints, and from the prism of history, were finally vindicated sometimes centuries after their deaths. The Western Church has never been too hurried to correct theological or cosmological mistakes and untruths."

Dammit, he speaks as well as he writes. He speaks with a tonality and a passion and conviction in his voice....yet always will love in his heart and on his smiling lips.

Lesbian blogger Pam Spaulding -- Pam's House Blend -- has nicknamed the present pope --

PAPA RATZI

If we do it right, it's a name that just might stick

There are times when I loathe what my birth faith has become.

Default Prada Handbags

" Prada wanted to also sell a purse to the Papa Ratzi after selling him the shoes and Papal chapeau....but after he gave them a first degree Inquisition on the shoe rack, they couldn't find a handbag that emitted the correct amount and acridity of fire and brimstone that he required."

I wrote it on the laptop, but I assure you this comes from HIS mouth - despite his nausea, he can think like this.

Great movie.... but on the femine side of things, so if you don't like that, I don't think you'll like it.... but otherwise good movie
