Smile Another great Gay idea!!

While having dinner with my partner and our adopted son, I think I came up with a great Gay idea.

OK here goes..

I am always obsessing about how to show the "James Dobson's" of the world just how healthy and wonderful it is for a child to be adopted by Gay Parents. I was thinking about a Tee shirt that the child can wear in public.

hang on I'm getting there,

We all know that the word "Gay" once meant "Happy". So I was thinking, how can an adopted child of Gay parents get the message out that he or she is happy and content?

OK here is what the shirt would say:

"MY PARENTS ARE GAY; AND I AM HAPPY!!"

maybe the smiley face can be like rainbow colors?

These shirts could be sold as fund raisers and Gay events and everywhere Gay adopted children are an issue.

I appreciate any feedback..

Thanks!

I like the tee shirt slogan, but for adult children (or teens, people old enough to have decided to make a statement.) It needs to be the child's idea to wear the shirt, and the child needs to be old enough to deal with any potential negative reactions from others. I wouldn't put a statement on a young child's tee shirt even if h/she wanted to wear it, in case they weren't ready to cope with someone approaching with negativity and challenges.

That is good input, Zerb, and I have to say that I agree. Actually, I don't even think our daughter knows the word "Gay" specifically in reference to us. Just that she has two moms and that is totally okay. For teens and young adults, an awesome idea. Nate has to see this so he can maybe create it to be sold on cafepress. Waddya think?

Thank you God for my two dads/moms.
Please let one of them love me enough to buy me that new (car/toy/etc.).
