The Mardi Gras Cruise

I just realized Soulforce didn't make a general announcement about the upcoming cruise... and I don't know how else to inform everybody other than the forum. RSVP Vacations has donated to Soulforce 10 cabins on a “party cruise” (Feb.26-Mar.4, 2006), from Ft. Lauderdale to Half-Moon Cay, Bahamas; Key West; Mérida, Mexico, and return. We're selling the cabins at a great rate, with 100% of the money going to Soulforce. There are several cabins left if anyone is interested.

We don't really know how to justify the extravagance of a cruise liner with the "living simply" philosophy of Gandhi and King, but this is a generous gift from RSVP. In addition to the "party" atmosphere, I think the Soulforce co-founders will be taking time for service work, to help rebuild a storm-damaged GLBT center (and renew storm-damaged spirits on the day in Mexico). This is also an excellent opportunity to spend time with co-founders Mel and Gary.
