My name is Giancarlo... I'm a gay 21 year old college student and am an atheist. I'm a student at California State University Northridge, and a political science major seeking my Bachelor's Degree. I will then pursue my Masters in political science. I'm a libertarian, and I agree with a political freedom that all should be able to reach.

This is truly not a free country when freedoms are given to some or even most, but not all. We cannot suffer from tyranny of majority. I'm very open minded and really want to see changes occur in our world. I often find myself at odds with both political sides however, but I'm always willing to stand up for one goal and that's equality.

I may not be religious, but I am fully understanding of religious differences. I'm very politically active in the LGBT movement here in Los Angeles (West Hollywood specifically).

Glad to have ya! Whilst not an atheist, I am a bit of an "ex-atheist," though I have to say I knew my "atheism" was not to be long-lived - but that's a story. . .

I spent a month in the dorms at Cal State Northridge for a summer program several years ago. I remember it as a very pretty place, hills, mountains, green things. . .not like here in the desert.

And my second cousin (my mom's cousin, really) lived in West Hollywood for about 30 years. They had a beautiful house on Norma Place very near the center of everything - another place I liked a lot.

I lived in No. Hollywood for 5 years as a child/pre-teen. Attended 1 year at a very rough Virgil Jr. High. Got to experience the famous '71 Sylmar Quake up close & personal!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm nearly completing my bachelors degree and will be on my way for my masters. Peaceful? LA? Heheh... I would love to have some peace and quiet right now heheh... I live in an apartment full of students.
