my cousin not only let me borrow a bunch of stuff for my party (chafing dishes, plates, flatware, decorations) he made a dish for the party, and pretty much acted as caterer so that Scott and I could play host to the guests. I begged him to sit down, quit working so much, but he seemed to enjoy his role.
I want to show him my appreciation, and I think he'd be insulted if I tried to "pay" him, and of course, for all he did, I really couldn't afford what someone would charge to do that stuff. So, I'm thinking I'll buy him this stuff: ![]() and maybe ![]() what do you think? is this enough? (the book is "Good Poems for Hard Times" and he has been having a few difficulties; there may be something in there that will inspire him.) |

I think it's enough.
And I'd be very happy with both gifts if I was him.
