"Statistics show that 69% of all hard drug users started out by using marijuanna, but 99.9% of all alcoholics started out on milk." It's totally obvious from that that milk is far more dangerous to our society than marijuanna. You make your point, Joe.

I just read the parody The Heterosexual Agenda !!!! OMG it was great! I love the way it took just snipets (sp?) of factual information and blended it with exaggeration to make it seem like truth. That is exactly what the AFA, Focus on the Family and the like do to us as GLBT people. They sensationalize something they can't accept as being a fact. They take a few statistics and blow it up, add their own scare tactics to it and then present it in grandstanding fashion to the general public who blindly accept it as truth. I loved it!

I have access to 3 computers; home, and work, in 2 different buildings. I tried viewing the pdf at home. Firefox wouldn't open it. I tried it at my main building, nothing there. I am at my 2nd school building now and after several attempts at opening the file (it kept crashing) I am finally printing it!

I read it last night and it was dead on. Not just the parody/satire part but the explanation parts.
“How to write an anti-gay tract in fifteen easy steps.” -Documenting all the different ways to deceive and manipulate the reader. How to get the "facts" you want by going out of your way to find the right studies and stats, or just using and twisting portions of studies/stats. If you’re familiar with Jim Burroway and Boxturtlebulletin then you know he’s an expert at researching the “research” used for dishonest studies, articles etc. He explains the nature and motive of the parody itself in the “Epilogue: What I learned by writing this parody.” That it’s not an “attack on Christianity” – even though he’s more than open about the parody aspect throughout the “anti-gay tract” section. It’s a complete animal, utter brilliance as Joe put. This is one for the history books and a perfect example of how this situation needs to be approached. -Expose HOW they are telling the lies, and do so in entertaining and informative ways with absolute clarification of a non-violent motive.
