Get active and stand up

I'm pretty active in writing on forums as well as political ones and also write to congressmen frequently,I'm also active with the aclu and other organizations such as amnesty international,online. I also write to newspapers and other websites and have had some luck in getting my commentaries published.. There is a nationwide effort being orchestrated by the religious right to get other denominations to cooperate with them as well as government on a state and local level... They are spreading lies and distortions about the gay community so they can promote fear and hatred instead of understanding toward the GLBT community. And they are often operating behind the scenes or as I said in stealth mode to get their agenda spread through out other denominations as well as politically.Gay people need to get active politically and not only religiously, and educate the American public more...This is no laughing matter. If you remain passive and hope that someday soon things will change don't count on it. Do you vote? Do you speak up? Do you let your voice be heard? If the odds are overwhelmingly in their favor they will win... And you will not like the consequences that will ensue.. Don't just speak up get active. Passivity never accomplishes anything, much less change.
