Hello,

I'm forwarding to you a letter that I e-mailed Tony Perkins of the Family Research Counsil. I was greatly offended by Tony Perkins' bias, prejudice, bigoted, homophobic views that he expressed on Chris Matthews' MSNBC show HARDBALL on October 3, 2006.

I am referencing your appearance on Chris Matthews’ show Hardball that aired on October 3, 2006.

You have a problem with your homophobic bashing of God’s gay children. You probably think that you are a Christian. The Lord Jesus Christ said in, MATTHEW 7: 1-3, (New Living Translation), “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?”

The Bible also talks about religious leaders that wanted to kill, accuse and put a spotlight on a woman’s sin. In the Bible, JOHN 8: 6-8, (New Living Translation), teaches us how Jesus dealt with this woman’s accusers. “They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.”

You, Tony Perkins, are a sinner and you are no better than anyone else. You have no right to try to sit on some moral throne and judge and “throw stones” at God’s gay children.

You claimed that most gay people were pedifiles and preyed on young men. You are either a liar or ignorant. The Bible says, JOHN 8: 44, (New Living Translation), “For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.”

If you are lying then you are just being a tool of Satan. If you are ignorant then you need to get educated. According to the FBI 95% of all pedifiles are heterosexuals.

Stop trying to use the Mark Foley scandal to attack God’s gay children. God is not pleased with you and there is a price that you have to pay for lying
