AWWWWWW!!!! Ooooooohhhhhh!!! She's sooooo cute! I want to love and mush all over her. Nothing makes my heart melt like a kitten.

Congrats on the new addition, and I hope you enjoy every minute with her (climbing up the curtains, getting stuck under the washer, pouncing on your feet in the middle of the night, as well as all the sweet cuddles and purring!).

I've been confining her to 1 room while we're out. So today, I set up the barricades, made sure she had food and milk, and access to the litter box. then I spent 5 minutes calling and looking for her. of course, no response....I went into the bedroom and pulled back the covers. There she was!

Susan, that post was cuter than the picture. Way to steal the scene from a kitten!

came home today to find that my partner had "enhanced" the barriers! evidently, she discovered that she can climb over the flat pieces of cardboard we were using to barricade the doorways.

Emproph -- too funny! The kitten is way cuter.

Keltic -- I have discovered, the hard way, that there aren't many barriers a kitten can't conquer. My cats even figured out they can open the doors in my house! Good luck, and enjoy the ride. The short time that they are kittens is an adventure -- a wonderful one.

My cats would be very perturbed to know I am gushing so over a kitten. They fear I'll get ideas on my head about adding another to our clan. No fear -- four is enough!

Wink Keltic, I think Suzer said it best:

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. She is so Cute! I wanna pet and cuddle her.

Some years back, I found a little grey kitten, hiding in the bushes under my front porch. She even had an injured paw. I never had a chance. So I took her in, and I named her Griesha, which I think means grey cat, in French.

My sister once got a kitten, who was probably too young to be away from her mother yet. So my sister would hold her on her shoulder, and the kitten would nurse, for hours, on her earlobe(!)

Default Welcome to the family, Callie!

She is so adorable!!! Enjoy her, calicos have such interesting personalities, as they all do, as well. I have two grown ones at home, no time or energy for a kitten at this point in my life. Make sure you spoil her rotten, of course, and be prepared to not sleep through the night for awhile!! Good luck with your new addition. Vanessa

Very adorable, I should point out that giving cats milk gives them the runs. That is an old wives tale about giving kittens milk. There are cat foods that have milk in it, so she would still get the nutrients without the runs. It would be best to give her water to drink instead. She is a very beutiful kitten, especially with thos two tone eyes.
I am not trying to step on a new parents toes, I only wish to inform.

I've already begun diluting the milk with water....
