Post Thoughts on "Getting it Straight"

My colleague and professor of political science at a christian university was sent the book, "Getting it Straight: What the research shows on homosexuality," from the Family Research council, free of charge, to peruse, have, use.

Link to Amazon here:

Has there been an effective rebuttal printed against this book? It seems filled with out-of-context card-stacking evidence, evidence that if applied to the Heterosexual community would be laughed at as "partial" evidence, certainly not conclusive. My friend, however, is leaning against homosexuality as acceptable, and intends to read the book with an open mind, and I'd like to know what my resources are for discrediting the evidence in the book--if it can be discredited.

Anyone know?

PS. Can anyone who's read the book and disagrees with it go onto the Amazon site and print reviews of this book to lower its credibility? Right now it's earned 5 stars. I will when I've read it and thought about i. Just wanted to know if anyone would join me. Thanks.
