Thanks for the prayers. you guys are the best.
Don't tell me that now you will be a perfect a-hole. Hmmm. That may be inappropriate for a prayer thread.

hey friends. I took today off from work to take my partner to the doctor. he's having a minor medical procedure in office. we're not really worried, but we could use the prayers none the less.

I had a horrible weekend and was really upset thinking there would be a battle with my mom about this guy she was potentially dating, because my sister and I hated him. But when I woke up, she was on the phone with my grandma (of course, this means she had also asked for the day off she was so upset)... she was crying, saying she's never met someone this horrible.

So, I hate that she's upset, but it's better that she be upset about this then upset with us for hating the guy. I love her so much!

Dearheart! I know I'm always telling you that you are an evil child. but the truth is that you a sweet child with a gentle and loving spirit. Your Mom doesn't have a CLUE how lucky she is (is it luck or did she have SOMETHING to do with it? hmmm...) to have you for a daughter. Then again... she probably does have a clue.

That's what family's really for right? We tease each other endlessly... but then we're there for one another when we need someone the most.

Thank you

Please pray for me and my family. I just want my mom to really understand the true meaning of God's love. Also to learn to accept me for who I am.

Hey Kiddo! I added you at the top of the list the day you first signed on! God loves you and he's with you in this. trust him. Your mom loves you too and in time she'll get with the program. This is a big adjustment!

Default Prayer Request

Please pray that we all "count our blessings" everyday! Pray for peace, love and grace to endure lifes struggles. Pray for all our relationships and for those who are sick. Pray for the lonely, poor, hungry, unemployed and our elderly. Pray that we learn to "love" as God has taught us. Pray that we never stand in judgement against anyone. Pray that we learn to be givers and not takers.

I have a friend that is so addicted to alcohol, drugs and pornography that he spends most of his time wasted...he is HIV+ 20 yrs and has never been ill yet. He is now "non detectible"...pray that God helps him to get the desire to change and recognize how great a blessing God has given him.

Jack

Boy! you don't want much do you! We'll have callouses on our knees by the time we're done. Can we split up the list? Dibs on the Elderly!! --- Ok... I'll do it. (just kidding BTW that is actually a pretty darn good list of things to pray for )

You got it! Praying for the Desire to change... that is probably the ONLY appropriate prayer cuz nothing will change for him until that desire emerges and asserts itself.

I read through these requests and lift each one up in prayer as I read them. God bless each one as you seek his guidance. We carry together our burdens to the Lord, in that there is comfort.

Default I have a prayer request of my own from my friends here....

I am having an outpatient surgical procedure tomorrow to indicate if I need to do something more about a physical issue. Would rather not say much more except that it could potentially be serious and I am asking for as many prayers as you can spare for myself and my loved ones....... I will be back in touch next week with an update.

Thanks all......

we just got home from the emergency room. Scott has acute bronchitis. he'd been running a fever all day, had trouble swallowing, sore throat, chills, aches, cough, dizziness....

anyway, he's feeling better, but will need to take an antibiotic, and they gave him an inhaler. I just made some chicken soup for him too.

keep him (and me!) in your prayers (I had to force him to go to the hospital, including dressing him. what a stubborn man)

Default Prayers and updates.....

Hey Keltic: Prayers for you and Scott, that you both are managing okay. I do hope that he is feeling better.

My procedure went as well as it could, I am a bit sore but trying to force myself to take it easy. I hope to have results by Wednesday, if not by the end of the week.

Thank you all for your prayer energy. It always helps to know my friends are watching over me.....
