there's still stuff happening with the little girl who reported the abuse; it looks like they may be able to get her out of the house and away from the abuse.

I was able to find out that the 6th grade girl most likely discovered her mom was dead on Sunday morning....yeah, Easter morning.....

I am glad to hear that it is encouraging that the little girl will get removed from the abusive environment; what a shame about that sixth grader; I will say many prayers for the peaceful transition for her mom, and peace about the loss for her.....

Default I'm scared.

My mom has been in a lot of pain lately.... labs just came back and there is something really weird going on with her pancreas. I don't want to think to much about it because worrying can't help, but I am definately worried.

Default I will hold you all in prayer, Jenn.....

Dear God: Please be with Jenn, her mom and family during this time of health issues and distress. May they feel enfolded in your loving arms, and trust that You will care for them gently and loving through any trials that may come.

my friend, Bob, just emailed me to say that his dad is refusing treatment for his leukemia and other health problems. He is expected to live for only a week or two. Please pray for a peacful passing for Bob's dad, and comfort for the entire family, including Bob and his partner Bruce.

I'm very sorry to hear that everyone is having to deal with that. I wish them all peace and a joy as they enjoy his final days.

She's clear!!! She had some tests done this morning, which tell us that it isn't anything extreme, they're think it's pancreatitis... which isn't good either, but it's not life threatening!

She's not feeling well since they had to give her something she was allergic to , but I'm sure she'll feel better as the day goes on... and soon we should be able to get a final diagnosis. We can all breathe a little easier after this morning though!

I called Bob yesterday to see how things were going; he was at the hospital and said that his dad had changed some in the past 24 hours, had gotten quieter and that the family was worn out.

Bob called this morning to let me know that dad passed around 1am, and while they are sad about this, they are glad his dad's suffering is over. Keep Bob, Bruce, and the rest of their family in your prayers.

Default Prayer Request

I am requesting prayers for my ex wife, Patti. She recently had to drop out of Nursing school due to the fact that she cares for her elderly mother. We all live together currently. She is continuing with a medical assistant degree, but Nursing was her dream. My prayer is that Gods plan will be revealed through all of the roadblocks in her life.

Thank you all.

-Matthew

If you could all pray for both of my parents, but especially my father. He's been having a few tough years lately. He is a great dad and all, but he has his uber-conservative moments. Just pray that God will comfort him and give him peace. Also pray that he won't be so harsh against those that disagree with him. He is a very caring person, and when he believes something he believes it with everything he has. I really wish that I could come out to them, but I'd rather not bite the hand that feeds me, especially when it is the only hand that can at this point in time. So, pray that God will show them the truth about homosexuality, and that they will come to accept it. Perhaps it's asking much, but I'd rather ask than not.

My boyfriend is possibly going to develop hepatitis... If he does, I'm afraid he'll die. Please keep him in prayer.

Also I struggle with depression from time to time and in the past, it has been suicidal. Please pray that I stay happy and don't fall back into self-doubt and suicidal depression. Thanks.

Greg and Ashley, you're both in my prayers tonight.
May God support you and console you and heal those close to you.

Post Prayers for my Priest and my church

Hey all

Please pray for the Rector (Rev. William McCord "Mac" Thigpen) of the church I attend, St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA, as he is on Sabatical until mid-June. He hasn't taken a retreat like this in the last 20 years as serving as a Priest. Please also pray for his partner, John, as Mac is away for all this time. I know John can be lonely without Mac there.

Father Mac usually also heads up the Integrity Pride Eucharist, but I am not sure if he will be back in time for Atlanta GLBTQ Pride this summer.

Please also keep my church in prayers as we miss our priest.

Please keep our Associate Rector, Rev. Beverly Elliott, in prayers as she keeps the parish running in Father Mac's abesence. So far, she's doing a great job but I know it can be really stressful.

Thanks all and Grace and Peace to you,

Wes

St. Bart's Atlanta is in my prayers, Wes.

The last time our rector went on sabbatical, he discerned that he had a wider calling in the church and allowed his name to be entered into nomination for bishop. He's now bishop of Newark (NJ) and the parish has gone through a year's discernment of its own. Our new rector will be installed on Wednesday. Keep us all in prayer as we celebrate our mutual ministry at All Saints, Worcester.

Please pray for the peaceful repose of Shirley, a neighbor and family friend who died last night, and for her family.

In your kindness pray also for me as I'm having some intense personal struggles right now that I really don't want to discuss out in the open.

Thanks, love ya.

Jeffery

Jeffery,

I'll certianly remember Shirley and her family. And YOU, friend. I have struggled with some intensity from time to time and know how difficult those things are to talk about, even with a counselor or close friend. I hope you have or can find someone you can trust to share with face-to-face. Meanwhile, we're here for ya, brother. We've got your back, spiritually at least.

please pray for my ex-wife. she broke her ankle today. I just returned from her place where I loaded her into a friend's van to take her to the emergency room. I've got my youngest with me for now.
