I'm asking for prayer for my friend/family June (I've mentioned her in other posts). A spot was recently found in one of her breasts and she just found out today that it's cancer. She was operated on some years ago (10 or more?) for cancer in that breast and now it's back again. What a stinkin' rotten thing to happen. June is a good person and has a lot to live for. I don't have anything to live for but I'm kept here. She and my cat Tigger are the only living beings I have that really care about me and her visits maybe 3 times a year are the only things I have to look forward to. And now this happens.

I wish with all my heart that when I saw my doctor today she would have told me I only had two weeks to live. It would have been a relief but my luck doesn't run like that.

Thanks for the prayers for June.

I dare say that my children and perhaps even my ex-wife are in danger as well. So, I guess I'm saying that depending on this man's desperation, it's possible that my family and I are in danger. I HOPE this isn't the case, but then, I can't estimate what the guy is capable of doing, nor his emotional state when faced with the prospect of this action.

Hopefully, I will have more information soon. so, please keep me and my family in your prayers.

Default Prayers you got.....

And please, keep you and yours safe, even if the action is complete, you are seeing how the anger can be residual.

Keltic,

Surrounding you in a circle/embrace of prayer. This, too, shall pass, but gosh it's hard going through it, brother. Know that you're loved and cared for very deeply.

Default Praying for China and Myanmar

I would like to send out my prayers to the people of China and Myanmar. May the Lord send his angels to comfort them, keep them, love them, provide for them, strengthen them, help them rebuild their homes and their lives, channel their grief and anger in constructive ways, and find peace in the midst of everything. May they feel the love of God surrounding them and have hope. Angel

Default I would like to send up prayers for South Africa.....

I have been forming a friendship with someone who is a native of there, and lives there presently in Cape Town. There has been outrageous ethnic type violence by black South Africans against other black immigrants from various other areas of the country and the world; killing by mobs of people, destruction of shanty towns. I want to pray for her safety, the safety of all in her country, and for world peace...........

Unhappy For my Sanity

I really need prayer for my sanity and my heart. I have been so nervous and so choked up. The traditional Christian would say that is the Holy Spirit telling me I am wrong and to get my life right. I don't know but I feel like I am going to explode. I have an impending sense of doom and not just for me, but by partner who suffers from a life-threatening chronic illness. I've always been a nervous person, but lately with her having been in the hospital a few times, I've just been scared of everything - and scared to let her out of my sight. She has also been really scared of where her illness will go in the future. Right now she is doing okay, but it can be unpredictable at times. Please, please please pray for Jewel and me. We are suffering. We know that God loves us, it is just really hard with us being isolated from the church as we knew it, and the people that we would have called on to pray for us in the past for fear they won't understand or accept our relationshp.
Thank you in advance. Angel

Angel,

There's nothing scarier than a loved one in precarious health. And you know that you need to keep your cool to help her. So ... prayin' that God will console you and comfort you and give you the strength to uphold her; and will likewise soothe her suffering and ease your distress. Sending you all kinds of cyber hugs.

Default This is Jewel... Angel's partner

Hi,

This is "Jewel", Angel's partner. She has talked so much about this site, and how much she enjoys reading and posting here, that I decided to drop in and visit. Once I saw this thread and what she so lovingly wrote, as well as the responses, I felt compelled to at least say Thank You.

Thank you to everyone here who provides her with a safe place to talk, question, learn, grow, and just be herself. I appreciate that more than you all can possibly know.

Thank for all of your well wishes, and concern... for both of us.

And of course, since this is prayer request thread, I will say that I would really love for you to pray that we both (Angel and I) come to a place where we can truly be ourselves, and all that it entails. Free from fear, judgement, prejudice, hate and anxiety, and just in a place of pure love, acceptance, happiness, and contentment, and most importantly, be assured that we are living our lives in the Will of God.

Again, thank you all very much. I will keep YOU in MY prayers as well!

Jewel

...that I will continue to keep a level head about the massive amount of schoolwork that I should be done with by next week. So far, I've been fine, I just need to work on getting it done and not think about it to much. I doesn't have to be done for another two months, I think... but I really don't want to be doing schoolwork all summer. Especially since I have two different classes I'm supposed to be taking this summer already, plus possibly drivers ed.

Calm.

....and for my mom, as she gets out of her job as nanny (her last day is Friday) and that her business will build quickly!

...and for many many other things, just friends, graduations, and the many other things that I, and we all hold close to our hearts.

Jewel

Just to update everyone - Jewel and I had a fantastic time on vacation last week. We were able to get some much needed rest and get our minds off of crazy things back home. J is not feeling so well this week, though. Please keep praying for her.

Love to you all.
Angel

Default For the Children

I pray for our LGBT children that have been murdered. I pray for the people who committed these hanious acts violence. I pray that the leaders of our political, religious and government stop segregating and dehumanizing the gender diverse. I pray that the greater gay and lesbian community holds these same people to these truths.

Default Prayer Request

I would like to pray for my children about their behaviour and studies.
About the surroundings where we live.

Mainly they should be regular to church. Let they learn to pray daily.

I would like to remind us about the shootings of the Arkansas Democratic superdelegate who was murdered in Little Rock a week ago. I would also remind us to remember the UU church shooting in Knoxville, Tennesse a couple weeks before that. I pray that people would stop listening to hate speech and come to an awakening that us liberals aren't trying to ruin the world, but actually make it safer and better. We aren't the enemies here, despite what people like Bill O'reilly say. I pray that we all find courage to live our lives and that we can summon compassion for others. I pray that all religions, nations, and cultures can be in harmony with each other, instead of opposing each other. I wish everyone luck and that everyone remembers that no one can defy death since it's inevitable. I'd rather people accept death as a part of living and just live our lives to the fullest and try to help the world, even if we only influence it a little bit.

I humbly request prayer for my studies this coming academic year, which for me begins September 3. Also for spiritual/emotional issues that have been pestering me. Thanks so much.
