Default a little off topic

okay, I trust your opinions......I need you to be honest....it is January 27th at 8:37pm. My partner and I are creating a website bookstore and don't agree on the look of things...colors really.....this is all about color.

I won't touch anything for an 1/2 hour or so, but please look and tell me if I am on the right track.... or if he is on the right track....

He says: The logo is not colorful enoug
I say: Too many colors will make it busy and hard to read
you decide.... (he agreed to this so you r opinions will win, vote for me HEHEHE)

He says: Too much blue, not FUN!
I say: Huh? I don't get it. I think it is fun, but also easy to read.

Please tell us what to do......(and tell me how you love the logo just the way it is...please.....okay, just be honest, I am counting on you guys, because I trust you will be honest)

Well guys,
To be "honest" I'd have to say there is too much of that all one shade of blue. I'm not saying you need a psychedellic burst of color, but maybe combine another shade of blue or another color in there.
Sorry Joe, don't be mad at me.

okay, I can agree there may be too much blue. Perhaps an accent may be needed, but I am afraid to be too busy......

I decided I won't change anything til the morning so people have time top chime in and help us out. Rick isn't taking to the amount of color. I think have sold him on the blue, or at best the shade if it....but he suggests taking out the first blue line after the logo working down and just leaving the text that says "top" and "catalog", but changing the color to blue or black....

I don't know about that, I think you need to differentiaite between the header and the rest of the page...I gues I am argumentitive or something......

I admit it might be too much blue.... But I like blue!

sorry to say... I think that if you add more color it will attract more attention and will stil be pretty easy top read, maybe not a lot, but some. (sorry)

your thoughts have been very helpful!!!!! No need to apologize, we are too old queens trying to agree. Mostly it is fun! I am not a fan of green myself. (sorry Shep). I would use the green if people thought it was better than too much blue.....

I almost just want to give it up and say make it black and white...it is easier.
