Hey Everyone!

My name is Chad and I am 20 years old. I am just about to leave home for school at BYU in Provo, Utah! I am the only member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints in my family. I love my Church very much despite their treatment of me because of their lack of knowledge. I still have a long way to go. Somtimes it feels like things change as fast as glaciers move, but they do change.

Anyway, I guess that is me in a nut shell.

Hi Chad- Welcome. Things may be happening more quickly than we think, as least as far as glaciers are concerned, a recent article suggests.

Hi Chad,

I admire your courage in standing by your faith despite all the obstacles. A friend of mine is about to be the first legally married LDS member to be removed from the church for being married - he and his partner were married in Toronto. They want him to quit but he is refusing.

Change doesn't happen by running away from something. My Church is a wonderful Church. If I didn't believe that, I would not have sacrificed so much to become a member. But they do need to Change. I hope I am still around when it comes.

Congrats to them!! I am only sorry that it comes at a price. Your friends are pioneers and I admire them VERY much. Thank them for me.
