The Doonesbury cartoon this morning is hilarious and takes an excellent jab at the hypocracy of Dobson. I'll copy the script below. The scenario is that Mark, the DJ is interviewing Dobson and asks:
Mark: Dr. Dobson, I was just running the numbers on the various presidential candidates. On the GOP side, the three front runners, Giuliani, McCain and Gingrich have five divorces among them, four of them really messy and all of them involving adultry. On the Democratic side, the three front runners, Clinton, Obama, and Edwards have no divorces or infidelities. So my question is, which party best represents family values? Dobson: The Republicans. They don't support gay marriages. Mark: Nor their own, apparently. Dobson: That's private! That's betweeen a man and a woman and another woman and sometimes one more woman. Isn't that a hoot? Unfortunately, I suspect that's exactly what Dobson would suggest. Last edited by kara speltz; 04-15-2007 at 09:50 AM. |

Kara,
Thanks for bringing this Doonesbury comic to our attention. I don't usually read the Sunday funny papers but today I got a good laugh at this one. I've cut it out and put it on my refrigerator.Rick
