Default Information about elected officials

In this thread I'll post places to look up information about elected officials, including who they are (given your location), how to contact them, and their positions on various issues.

First, the Human Rights Campaign website has quite a bit of helpful info.

Another useful resource is a website called On The Issues, which aims to be a nonpartisan voter education site (see its About Us page), covering many different issues. On this site, "gay rights" are a subcategory of "civil rights."
