I was sending Bishop Carlton Pearson press coverage from the Clergy Call for Justice & Equality right after the event, since I knew where it was, & got his email from my bf. Naturally I was spouting off opinions like always (they were appreciative of what he is starting to get involved in). We emailed back & forth a few times. His secretary called me a few minutes ago to set up an appointment w/ him next week.
I don't know what I'm going to end up doing yet, but I guess he might want an activist, so I'm pretty excited about it. Wish me luck. Things have been a little stagnant lately, w/ Clock in for Equality pretty much being the only thing I'm working on (locally).

That sounds very exciting! My mom and I used to watch Bishop Pearson When he was on TV with Oral Roberts. She was QUITE upset when she heard that Bishop Pearson had been "deceived" by Satan into believing homosexuality was not a sin.
She said many people left his church. If I end up moving to Tulsa Bishop Pearson's church will be the first place I check out.
