Smile A new work?

I have followed the movements of Soulforce Riders this past year and I must say that you have had some impact. I attend a Christian liberal arts college here in New York. I gather many of the campuses you go to are on the conservative side.

A thought came to mind while I was reading the blogs. There's the perception that everybody is one big happy family at Christian colleges where utopia exist. In reality that is not the case. We all come with what we have been taught and what we have caught. I know that there are LGBT men and women on Christian college campuses who feel alone and isolated. I am a transgender individual who discovered my orientation two years ago. I never knew that it was in me nor did I ever struggle with it. I guess it was time for it to come out.

I just want say that I applaud what you are doing and pray that you will continue doing what you are doing. I believe that God is doing a new work within the Christian community and in the churches in particular. College campuses should be where ideas can be expressed freely without censorship. I know that it's not always the case. My heart's desire is to minister to the transgender community. I pray that you reach out to those lonely young men and women who are struggling with their sexuality and gender expression.

May God bless you.
