Default Christ, honestly, love

Thought: Sometimes good people do very, very bad things. For instance, Peter told Jesus that he would die before he denied him, but he did it three times, as Christ predicted. Peter later went on to become one of the pillars of the church. Even Judas, for instance, went back to the Priests and begged them to set Jesus free, throwing their money at them when they refused. He was so grieved that he committed suicide. Some historians/theologians theorize that Judas may have been a Zealot, which was a group of Jewish warriors who were planning to overthrow Rome for what it had done to the Temple and the Jewish people. People theorize that Judas may have turned him in to make him angry enough to incite a full fledged rebellion.

In both cases, we see people who clearly know right from wrong choosing wrong. I think that this is the dilemma Christians (and others) face on a daily basis: we know what is right even while we do the wrong, and then we are grieved. We let people down and betray them, we do wrong. But, hopefully, if we are truly committed to loving God and others through our actions, we will choose to do the "right thing" in the end.
