Default St Patrick's Prayer

From the Lorica of St. Patrick:

Christ shield me today ...
So that there may come to me abundance of reward,
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through a belief in the threeness,
Through a confession of the oneness
Of the Creator of Creation. Amen.

I love Celtic Christianity, because, did you realize 1) Ireland is the only country christianized without violence? and 2) During the middle ages the monks & scribes copied all the important documents of the Church for preservation, thus, in effect, saving Christianity! HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

i love saint patrick- i love celtic christianity as a whole- it's just so earthbound and it doesnt forget the past- many countries were christianised and just told to give up what they had known, ireland incorporated its past into its present and future.

i have to get back to researching celtic orthodoxy one of these days- i had a whole lot of links about it before my computer crashed....

cheers and blessed be-

~l'elly.

L'elly, I don't honestly have a clue... but I'm thinking that you may enjoy talking to someone such as Keltic, on these forums... just a thought...
