Default Transgender deprived of right to vote?

Hello All,
I caught the tail end of a newscast which were discussing some bill being passed that would prohibit Transgender persons from the right to vote. Nancy Pelosi was mentioned and I heard nothing else about it? Does anyone have any knowledge of this bill? I have found similar state bills in Texas which make it difficult for Transgender persons, along with poor and elderly persons requiring I.D. and papers before someone could cast a vote.

Default Sorry, I was wrong; has nothing to do with voting.

Apparently what is going on are two bills which protect us from job discrimination. One bill includes GLBT, the second bill excludes Transgender from the protection. Still sounds like a messed up deal to me. I disagree with there reasoning that the bill wouldn't pass if it included Transgender persons.
