From Reconciling Ministries:
The California Psychological Association has signed on to an Amicus Curiae Brief that the American Psychological Association has filed with the California Supreme Court on the issue of gay marriage. The APA was joined in this brief not only by CPA but also by the American Psychiatric Association and the National Association of Social Workers. http://www.cpapsych.org/associations...0-%20FILED.pdf It is VERY full as far as documents go, but is affirming of same-sex marriage and parenting skills. It is presented on behalf of the major associations of psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers - collectively representing the vast majority of mental health care practitioners. It also, by discussing their research techniques and standards, indirectly criticizes the pseudoscience of reparative therapies and other anti-GLBT groups. Good read.
