I am seeking funding for a new ministry - Kingdom International. I have this vision of reaching out to those who severely repress their own homosexual orientation to the point of being vehemently homophobic or violent towards GLBT, and show them that, through the love of Christ and with proper and consistent counseling with credentialled professionals, they too can overcome their anti-GLBT lifestyles.

Now, I know, it is extremely difficult for many of these folks to comprehend their choice as a lifestyle, what with one of the symptoms being a belief that unScriptural certaincy is ordained by God and another being that is unnatural to be anything but violent towards those who remind us of ourselves. I believe, however, that they can indeed be cured of this wholly unnatural and sinful fixation on other people's sexuality - and that they can be led spiritually to look honestly at their own inhibitions and self-denigration.

This will, however, require a lot of funding - there's just so many of these f--king people out there. But, for the love of Christ, we can save them from themselves and open them up into a new and liberating life, freed through God's power from slavery to stringent morallizing and outwardly expressed manifestations of self-directed hate.

Who's with me on this - I have to ask because it surely isn't the bulk of mainline Christianity. It's gonna take a lot of people gathering at the edge of religious circles and offering their spines to the institutionalized church which lacks such an important part of its anatomy.

Edit: Crap - the name's already taken by an outfit in Phoenix. It's not very catchy, but Ingress Ministries seems to be available. There's got to be something better that means the opposite of departing, leaving or mass migration - What's the opposite of Exodus?
