I don't know how to explain how humble I feel when people feel comfortable enough to come out to me. I've had quite a few people come out to me since I've become open and more comfortable about being gay myself.
![]() Each time, I feel so honored that these people feel safe with me - so privileged to be allowed to share something so powerful with another person. I feel so warm and comfy that I was able to share something so special. Here I sit, moved almost to tears with joy and emotion for the person and I can't help but smile. Anyone else get similar feelings?

Yes, I feel blessed that my friends trust me. I understand.

Yes. I know exactly what you mean. At the age of 47, I've had some younger people come out to me- it is always an incredible experience. Such times demand that one be a great listener. Having the opportunity of seeing someone bloom right before your eyes is a rare and beautiful honor.
