..........Welcome....I have just joined the program.....I think the concept of getting all people together is wonderful..... I never could understand in my mind how or why a person that thought with Christian ideas and felt close to GOD was always considered sinful....when, in reality....all of us are sinners by GOD's word.....and by calling people with Gay thoughts wrong and sinful, is not the right way to get Gay people to accept Jesus as their Savior......I am hoping for good things to come from this....Thank you for being here.......

Glad to have you with us. I also was one that was puzzled by the whole "gay and Christian" situation. I knew I was gay and it certainly didn't seem to be sinful. It took a long time until I finally listened to God and God told me that being gay was exactly what he had planned for me. There are sins in the world, but being gay isn't one of them.

Welcome! You're right--many Christians who think they're doing the right thing by fighting hate crimes legislation, marriage equality, and demonizing us, are only pushing folks away from God. It's very sad.

So many have been raised to believe in an idol concocted by humans--a vengeful, angry (and apparently bigoted) God. That God does not exist for me. God is love. Period.
